Biogas. When the government takes part in it! Print E-mail
 Bigas

Focus on a successful policy of the Chinese government for the inhabitants of the country side.

Biogas, biogas and biogas...

It is in the full heart of Beijing, at the Ministry of  Agriculture of the Chinese government that we meet Zhu Liu Fang, Engineer, in charge of the « rural areas  » department.

She is welcoming us with a large smile, explaining us as successfull policy under the eye of the very powerful National Comittee of the Reforms and of the Chinese Development. The idea is to incite the Chinese farmers to transform their agricultural wastes into biogas.

It is thanks the methanization process that bacteria transform their waste into gas which then can be used to heat the houses or to cook.

The government gives subsidizes the half of the installation of the  system in order to  incite the families setting it up.

Here are the results:

27 millions of systems are installed by technicians authorized by the government since 2001.

Thanks to this system, the families, (3 people) have gas which is free of charge for 2 meals a day when recycling wastes.

The East of China largely installed it while the West of China, the poorest part of this huge country is in financial difficulties to benefit from it. The government works on a solution with the local cities.

Each installation costs 1000 RMB (100€) for the families. The rest is paid thanks to the 2,5 billions of  RMB injected by the government each year.

A nice example of a technical solution dynamically managed by the government to improve the life of the inhabitants of the rural areas.

Très intéressant, mais vous pouvez nous en dire plus ? Coût de l'installation, quantité de matière utilisée vs quantité de gaz produite, etc ... Et avec des photos des installations ce serait top top top !
Merci !
