A blow and the light was born ! Print E-mail

Windela

A statement, an idea and Windela was born !
A little revolution cleverly conceived...

Monday, 3:00 Pm, Boulogne Billancourt, at  the Extension et Developement headquarter.

By chance, the director, Nazih EL YAZIGI, is receiving us, the eyes full of intelligence, the head full of ideas... He is the inventor of this little marvel.

A manufacturer? No, Mr El Yazigi is a real finance manager , but first of all, a visionary, conscious that it is necessary to act for one's children and grandchildren.

He then developps the concept of innovating products  with equity and 6 partners. .

According to him, it  was  intelligent to invest on nanotechnology and environment.

Many questions followed :

What is the main factor of environmental problems ??

-The carbon dioxide.

Why is there too much carbon dioxide ?

-Tblue planet inhabitants use  too much energy.

What can we do to be very reactive on that problem ?-

-Lowering more and more the use of the electricity  : 35% of the energy budget goes in the cities public lighting !

The idea was born the technological solution had to be found.

In 2003, a R & D engineers team worked on the project during two years. Then, Windela was born...

Windela, what is it?

It is a street lamp :

On its head,

-A silent windmill -less than  12db- with vertical axis (a patented mix of Darrieus technology (forange peel form, moving off with more than 5m.s of wind) and  Savonius  tachnology (2 half-cylinders, immediate moving off).

-A photovoltaic board.

on its foot,

-4 batteries releasing a total power of 4800 Wh and allowing the street lamps to run during 4 nights.

At last, the 42 LEDs lighting considerably reduces the consumption and multiplies the life length of the bulb  (100.000h) by 10 compared with any other lighting. The system is in accordance with the lighting French laws.

Windela,  a jewel?

It will be  30% more expensive to a local authority for the replacement of the stock in hand,  but 50% less expensive for any  new installation  (no cable underground).

The installation must be  carefully done because of the weakness of the set  but its almost unecessary maintenance makes it a great solution.

The orderbooks are full with more tahn 50 demands per day…

First delivery between april and may…

The small windblow that brushings do hate will be soon at least usefull to light us up and so avoiding us to go home with wet feet because of a badly lit puddle !

Prometteur ! ^^
