Salut! 
Oui, un four solaire existe à Odeillo dans le Rousillon en 1970. Il est dans les mains du CNRS. La France était vraiment en avance sur ces technologies avant les années 80 jusqu'à l'arrivée du nucleaire, obligeant à laisser ces études de coté... 
On a eu ces infos par une personne du CNRS Odeillo. Actuellement la machine "recherche et devellopement" est repartie sur le solaire en France... Affaire à suivre!
